Jan Jacob van Dijk (born 1964) has been the Chair of the Council since 1 August 2024. He is deputy chair of the Netherlands Commission for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) and the Ecological Authority, chair of the Supervisory Board of the Onze Huisartsen GPs organisation, chair of the Energy System Implementation Consultation body, advisor to the Council for the National Programme Regional Energy Strategy (NP RES), member of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Curriculum Development (SLO), chair of the Supervisory Board of the PAS Foundation, chair of the Supervisory Board of Christian Primary Education Betuwe, member of the Supervisory Board of Landstede Groep, member of the Dr. Kuyperfonds Foundation and chair of the Vereniging voor Onderwijs Bestuurders (VvOB, the Dutch association for managers in education). He is also an (unpaid) member of the editorial board of Christen Democratische Verkenning.
