prof. J. (Joks ) Janssen
Joks Janssen (born 1975) has been a member of the Rli since 1 August 2024. He works as a senior researcher on green-blue area development with the PON & Telos social knowledge enterprise. He is also a Professor of Practice for Broad Prosperity in the Region at Tilburg University. From this position, he is also associated with the Academic Workshop on Achieving Broad Prosperity, in which scientists work with a range of public organisations and companies on interdisciplinary research on broad prosperity issues. He holds an unpaid ancillary position as member of the general management of the Brabants Landschap foundation and a paid ancillary position as member of the scientific focus group Spatial Economic Organisation of the Urban Netherlands (REOS-SNN). In addition, he is a member of the scientific focus group Coherent Approach to Nature and Economy (SANE) of the province of South Holland and chair of the assessment committee for the Dutch Research Agenda (NWA) call Economic Structural Strengthening South Holland based on an expense allowance.
