The Council consists of 12 members, including the chair and two members of the Environment and Planning Act Evaluation Committee (EcO). The members are appointed for four years by Royal Decree on the basis of their broad knowledge and experience of society. They come from the spheres of public administration, business, and academia. The Council appointed three highly talented junior members, with a view to the knowledge and experience of younger generations being reflected in its work. The junior council members take part in all the Council’s activities.
